Dariya Maminova (*1988, Saint-Petersburg, Russia) is a pianist and composer based in Cologne.

She has been composing music since early childhood and was already performing her pieces on television at the age of 6. Having graduated from a conservatory in Russia as a pianist and in Germany as a composer, Dariya now works as a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on new experimental music: she writes vocal, instrumental and electronic compositions as well as singing, playing, drawing beautiful geometric graphics and writing poetry. Her compositions have won awards in competitions and have been recorded on discs. Important new music ensembles (Musikfabrik, Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, Ensemble Garage, Handwerk, etc.) play them at prestigious European festivals. In 2020 she was awarded the Bernd Alois Zimmermann Scholarship in Cologne and in 2023 the GEMA Young Talent Award of the German author society. At the beginning of 2024, her music-theatre project on the power of Big Tech premiered at Deutsche Oper Berlin. In her personal project #dariyasongs she composes and sings songs on poems by Romantics, modernists and contemporary poets, combining post-impressionism with piano preparations, and jazz vocals and indie rock harmonies with extended performance techniques and post-Darmstadt ensemble textures.
